Hey sweetie… If bread could talk, it would definitely say: But guys, what did I do wrong? đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™€ïž

In the last decade, bread has suffered a lot due to gluten, which is present in wheat and barley, but this nutrient is not harmful to the general population, unless the person consuming it has some sensitivity or allergy, like someone with celiac disease.

Although there are better choices, such as 100% wholemeal or naturally fermented bread, any bread, within a healthy eating context (considerable consumption of water, fiber, vegetables and fruits), can be safely consumed every day, always combined with a quality protein such as eggs, tuna, cheese, hummus, cottage and obviously without exaggeration, since its main macronutrient is carbohydrates, which in excess may not be interesting (I’ll explain at another time).

For us, bread is a food that brings back emotional memories, as most people have seen or see loved ones, such as grandmothers, lovingly making it for a delicious afternoon coffee… Enjoy it wisely!
